Grimm moved to Sandpoint almost twenty-five years ago in 4687 – only a few years after the town was founded.

He has a reputation around town as being a belligerent drunk, and most people avoid him. Grimm has never opened up to anyone about why he moved to Sandpoint, but it may be that he himself doesn’t even remember after having spent over two decades in a drunken haze.

Grimm is fiercely protective of Ameiko, and quite to the surprise of some locals, stopped frequenting almost entirely both the Hagfish and the Fatman’s Feedbag when Ameiko opened the Rusty Dragon in 4706.
